Senapt, in collaboration with the Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC), is strengthening feeder monitoring through the deployment of Mega X meters at the LEC substation in Paynesville. The initiative is aimed at improving the accuracy and reliability of electricity measurement across key feeders, while providing enhanced visibility into energy flow, consumption, and system performance. The deployment represents an important step toward modernising electricity management and supporting more effective monitoring of the distribution network.
The installation of Mega X meters will also support LEC and Senapt technical teams in identifying feeder-level performance issues, improving operational decision-making, and strengthening accountability within the electricity supply chain. Through this technical collaboration, Senapt continues to support the transformation of Liberia's electricity sector by introducing modern metering solutions that promote efficiency, transparency, improved revenue management, and more reliable electricity services for customers in Paynesville and surrounding communities.
