The Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC), in partnership with SENAPT LIB Trading LLC, is engaging over thirty (30) communities across Paynesville City as part of the first phase of Liberia's national Smart Metering Rollout.
Through community sensitization and customer education, residents and businesses are learning about Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), the smart meter installation process, customer responsibilities, and the benefits of modern electricity management.
Smart metering is more than new technology, it is a step toward greater transparency, improved electricity management, reduced power theft, and better customer service.
